Demonstrating, sticking messages in the streets, organising bike rides through the city, decolonising attitudes through art and culture…

Alone or in groups, these militant women* are fighting gender inequality, sexism and racism in the urban environment in their own way. They denounce the prevailing patriarchy and propose solutions for a different, egalitarian way of living together, for a territory where no one is invisible or denigrated. A fourth feminist wave is taking hold of Brussels to ensure that never again will a sister be alone in the public space.
